Solar energy

The Sun represents an extremely powerful energy source, producing its energy through continuous nuclear fusion. Although only a small fraction of the Sun's radiation reaches the Earth, it is sufficient to maintain the Earth's energy balance and conditions that can sustain life. Part of the solar radiation reaching the Earth's surface can be utilised through passive solar systems, solar collectors or photovoltaic panels.
